Who we are
The Friends of Lanchester E.P. are a dedicated group of parent volunteers committed to enriching the lives of our children and enhancing their school environment. Throughout the year, we organise and support a variety of exciting events aimed at bringing the whole school community together and raising funds for additional school equipment and resources.
We currently have 10 on our committee and over 20 volunteers. Our Annual General Meetings take place every March, where a Chair, Treasurer and Secretary are voted in. If you would like to know more about joining the committee, please contact us at: friendsoflanchesterep@gmail.com
Events include:
· Children’s Discos and Movie Nights
· Christmas and Summer Fairs
· Themed Non-Uniform Days
· Family Summer Camp Outs
· Parent Quiz Nights
· Annual Christmas Shop
· Pop up ice cream stand (in the summer months)
· Santa’s Grotto
Why we do it
We are proud to have, so far, raised enough funds to support the school in a number of ways including:
· Developing a new seating area in the school playground
· Enhancing the Forest School provision
· Buying new toys and waterproofs for Early Years and Reception
· Providing children on the School Council with funds to buy every class board games for indoor play
· A winter coat for students who need it
· Hiring an ice cream van for a whole school summer term treat
· Helping with travel costs for school trips

Pre-loved School Uniform Shop
We now have a dedicated shop for great quality, pre-loved school uniform, you can view stock levels for all aspects of the school uniform on our website at: tinyurl.com/LanchesterEPUniform
Further details as to how to order and collect are also available on the link above. All uniform is freshly laundered and packed ready for parents to use. If you wish to donate school uniform, you can drop items of good quality in the red bin, which is located in the bike shed near the main entrance of school.
