If you think that your child may have an additional educational need or disability, your first point of contact is your child's class teacher. After discussing this with you, they will pass the relevant information on to the members of staff below.

Mrs Jane Davis

Head Teacher

Mrs Davis is our Head Teacher and has overall responsibility for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at our school. She delegates the day-to-day running of this to the school Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-Ordinator (SENDCO).

Mr Simon McLoughlin

SENDCO

Mr McLoughlin is the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-Ordinator (SENDCO) at Lanchester EP Primary School. He has responsibility for the day-to-day running of SEND across the school. His role includes working with children and their parents, advising members of staff, collaborating with outside agencies and ensuring that the quality of our SEND provision maintains its high standard. Mr McLoughlin holds the National Award for SEND Co-Ordination.

Miss Denice Atkinson

SEND Governor

Miss Denice Atkinson is our Governor for SEND. As an Educational Psychologist, she has extensive knowledge and experience of supporting children with special educational needs. Miss Atkinson can be contacted via the School Office.
